Its a 'Ranbir Show' allll the wayyy

Imtiaz Ali who's known for his romantic movies has given us a totally different take on Love stories. Donno how the Audience is gonna react to his narration but i personaly loved it. Ranbir just shows us how much he has evolved as an actor from his role in Saawariya as Ranbir 'Bare Ass' Raj to Jordan in 'The Rockstar'.

The Music by the Maestro , AR Rahman is another high point of the film. Brilliantly picturised by Anil Mehta.Debutante Nargis Fakhri was 'pretty' decent. What I dont understand is why's everyone comparing her to Arjun Rampal !!?? I mean srsly .. she aint that expressionless. Anyways that is just my opinion. Even though her role had huge scope she failed to pull it off convincingly. Now lets start talking about the Male lead .... Mr Ranbir 'Wonder Boy' Kapoor ... His surname is so Powerful and Prestigious that people even from the industry wanted to him to be a HIT since he first came on. But now he has finally pulled it off (n dat too brilliantly!). I had always liked his acting & admired his script selections. Whether it was Wake Up Sid , Rocketsingh or Raajneeti. The Lad did a commendable job in all his works (barring SAAWARIYA ofcourse!) even though some of the films didnt do that well in Box-Office. With this one he sure has struck Gold. (Best Actor Award .. Anyone ??)

About the Music ..which has now become a RAGE ... i really dont think i need to say anything here ... Just that Its By AR RAHMAN... Dats more than enough i guess.

Now lets talk about the Captain of the ship, Mr Imtiaz Ali.
He has so far delivered Hattrick of hits (Socha na tha , Jab We Met & Love Aaj Kal). And 'Rockstar' had been his dream project & been in making for the last 8 years. With Rockstar he sure has taken a detour & has also taken a huge gamble of sorts.  But now after lookin at the 5-day collection in Box-Office I can certainly say that the gamble has paid off.
Ali's unique charaterization of Janardhan AKA Jordan is truly remarkable & his narration a 'bit' different from what we normally see in Hindi Films (but a tad bit sloppy at some places).
The Editing (Aarti Bajaj) lapses at certain places do hamper the film but AR Rahman's Background score & Ranbir's screen presence totally over-shadow that.

+ve : Ranbir's Actin & AR Rahman's Music

-ve : Editing by Aarti Bajaj & Nargis Fakhri ...

An Iconic Character turned into An Iconic Movie.

Herge's Iconic Character that transcended time , languages , age groups has finally made its way from the pages of a comic to the Silver Screen. Thanks to 2 Geniuses ... Steven Spielberg & Peter Jackson. If any body could have done justice to Herge's characters ,Its them.
One gave us Memorable Movies like 'Jaws' , 'E.T', 'Indiana Jones' and the other gave the world the Masterpiece known as 'The Lord Of The Rings'.

Only true Tintin fans could have pulled off sumthing like this. The Film May not be completely true to the books as the 3 British Musketeers ( Moffat , Wright & Cornish ) have used 3 of Herge's Comic books to write the screenplay for thfilm ( 2 More Films are in pipeline !).
Spielberg had long ago given a fitting tribute to Tintin with a character that he co-created with George Lucas i.e Indiana Jones.

The Experience of watchin a Real 3D IMAX was in itself amazing! The Movie is filled with amazingly shot sequences. Spielberg , Jackson & the crew surely must have spent months & months just on the Storyboard.
John Williams continues the tradition of giving unbelievable tunes to Spielberg.
A Special Mention has to be made for the whole team that was responsible for the Motion Capture & Motion Editing ... Mind Blowing stuff ... u guys deserve a Special Oscar for ur work.
There were times when it just didnt feel like animation at all.
Truly Great stuff.

Dont Miss This One. U'll Regret it.

The Social Network :

Crew :

Director : David Fincher

Writer : Aaron Sorkin

Cinematography : Jeff Cronenweth

Music : Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross

Cast :

Jesse Eisenberg : Mark Zuckerberg

Andrew Garfield : Eduardo Saverin

Justin Timberlake : Sean Parker

The Winklevoss : Arnie Hammer

2 years back when i read that David Fincher is gonna make a movie on Facebook, i seriously thought that he had lost it.
The first thought that came to my mind was that its gonna be LAME.... but then few days later got the news that its gonna be based on Ben Mezrich's Book 'Accidental Billionaires', which was all about 'How Facebook Happend' ?
Now it seemed totally different & with Aaron Sorkin on board as the scriptwriter the Expectations were Sky-high.
And THANK GOD .... 'THE SOCIAL NETWORK' didn't disappoint me. The First thing i did after watching the movie was, go to Mark Zuckerberg's page on Facebook and LIKE it.No wait.. actually that was the second thing. The First thing i did was search for Erica Albright but was disappointed.
You can surely term this movie as 'The Movie of This Generation'.... it has everything from .. Love,Friendship,Betrayal & Money .... Lots of MONEY :)
Fincher just showed us again why he is such an Amazing Director. The Cast which features virtually Unknowns with an exception to JT... was just tooo apt for their respective roles.
Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg truly nails the performance. He was well supported by Andrew Garfield (Da New Spidey!) , Justin Timberlake & Arnie Hammer.
But for me,the True Hero of this movie is Aaron Sorkin who just adapted Ben Mezrich's Book in a totally different way for which he truly deserves an Oscar.
Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) & Atticus Ross have given reallly apt music. Do check out the track 'In The Hall Of The Mountain King' :-O. They already have got the Globe , Let's see whether they walk away with the Golden Statuette or not.

Rating : 4/5 ( Great Script , Great Direction & Amazin Actin by the Cast)

Verdict : Don't u wanna know How IT all Started? ;-)
